Our client, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, is seeking a talented Sourcing and Resource Manager to join their team in Houston, TX. This role is a professional talent acquisition position within the Oil and Gas division, focusing on full lifecycle recruitment for roles ranging from field inspectors to quality leadership positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Strategy: Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, collaborating with hiring managers to craft job requisitions, define sourcing strategies, and conduct effective candidate assessments.
- Sourcing Expertise: Develop creative sourcing strategies using various methods, including job postings, social media, internal databases, referrals, cold calling, and career fairs.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates to meet ongoing staffing needs and business goals.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate journey by serving as a single point of contact and facilitating the interview and onboarding process.
- Market Insights: Research and analyze market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor insights to inform recruitment strategies and attract top talent.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with operations managers to understand staffing requirements, monitor applicant pools, and recalibrate sourcing strategies as needed.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and labor laws, while consistently updating the applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain accurate records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in corporate recruiting, search firm, or agency experience.
- At least 2 years recruiting in industries like Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Technical Services, or Engineering preferred.
- Experience recruiting for technical and certified field staff highly desired.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in full-cycle recruitment and behavioral-based interviewing techniques.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment under tight deadlines.
